Malling er en by i Østjylland med 6.194 indbyggere (2020) beliggende knap 13 kilometer fra Aarhus C. Den ligger i den sydligste udkant af Aarhus Kommune og hører dermed til Region Midtjylland. Malling voksede i løbet af 2012 sammen med Beder til malling kommuneén by Beder-Malling (9.228 indbyggere, 2023) jf. Danmarks Statistiks opgørelsesmetode.

Beder-Malling kommune bestod som selvstændig kommune fra ca. 1840-1970. Før grundloven i 1849 blev landet inddelt i 24 amter med ca. 80 købstæder og ca. 1200 sognekommuner. Sognekommunerne blev dannet på grundlag af。

Malling er en tidligere landsby i Aarhus Kommune. Byen hører til Aarhus Søndre Provsti , Malling Sogn og Aarhus Stift , og var frem til 1970 en del af Beder-Malling Kommune . Fra 2013 blev。
